The 7-Point National Manifesto

We will advocate for national legislation that explicitly protects the right of citizens to feed community animals. This includes legal penalties for housing societies or individuals who harass, intimidate, or fine animal feeders. Feeding is the first step toward effective sterilization and community bonding.

The current Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act is outdated. We demand a complete overhaul, introducing significant fines and mandatory prison sentences for heinous acts of cruelty. We also propose a "National Abuser Registry" to prevent repeat offenders from owning or being near animals.

Ineffective sterilization is a failure of governance. We propose a standardized, transparent, and humane ABC program monitored by local volunteer committees. This includes high-quality vaccination drives to ensure rabies-free neighborhoods for both humans and dogs.

Volunteers are the unofficial frontline workers of our cities. We aim to provide official recognition, ID cards, and a legal aid network for rescuers who often face physical and verbal abuse for their service to society.

Every district must have a government-funded 24/7 animal ambulance service and emergency trauma center. No animal should die on the streets waiting for help that never comes.

We push for a "Tax on Breeding" and a total ban on the illegal pet trade. Our policy prioritizes the adoption of Indie dogs and cats through government-subsidized adoption centers and public awareness campaigns.

Urban planning must include animals. We propose the creation of "Feeding Zones" and "Shelter Pockets" in all new residential and commercial developments to ensure animals have a safe place without causing friction with residents.
